Re: Parts of Upton Park you never stood/sat in?
I can claim to have been in every single part of the Boleyn ground, old and new. North bank, south bank, west side and chicken run, including the original, I've sat in the upper west and lower west as well as the upper east and chicken run.

Also I've been in the Directors box a few times in the late 60's and early 70's.

I've also sat in every part of the ground (upper tiers and lower tiers) once it became all-seater. And just before demolition I sat in the box that Umbro used.

And I've stood in those two corner cages either side of the north bank.

And having done that since '62 I can confidently say that the best place to watch from was the back row of the Chicken run - sitting or standing, before they moved the pitch 30 yards away. The old directors box was great but you had to keep schtum.

I loved the chicken run as it was properly old West Ham but the best and hairiest place to was on the south bank next to the away supporters.

Saw some proper carnage in there.

Great days and I miss them like I miss my younger days generally. It's where my transition from a boy to a man took place. History.

I don't think I did the chicken run and can't remember ever being in the Centenary upper?
But did all the stands!

Re: Parts of Upton Park you never stood/sat in?
Done all the old stands including the away end (Farnborough FA Cup), never did the Trevor Brooking upper.

Most time spent in the chicken run, always had a soft spot for the old West Upper, bit quiet but it was where I sat for my first ever match

The only chance I got to view from the Chicken Run was a friendly against Botafago when McAvennie got sent off

North and South banks, West Side and Chicken Run,all standing.

West side seats. Season ticket for 2 years on half way line about half way back.

East stand season ticket for 5 years on 18yard line, nearest North Bank 6 rows back.

Still miss the old place.

I was at that game. Some Aussies came into the Central wearing the green and yellow jokers hats singing "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie " That didn't end well for them

Sat in every stand. Even in the away stand when Australia played England

Was Palace yes, about 20 seconds after Lampard equalised (we were 2-0 down at first from memory)

Similar happened at Derby v Wimbledon a few months earlier.

Traced to a Chinese betting syndicate or something

I stood/sat in every part of the Boleyn. Started going regularly in 1956, though I went a few times before that, with my Dad, or uncles.

Sat and stood in all stands of the pre all seater UP. Never sat in the Centenary or the West Upper (Rio Stand)

Upper east, the only time I went in the Chicken run when the gates were opened 10mins before the final whistle vs Liverpool in 1976, I can still see Keegan going past Graham Paddon

I think I might have never been in the chicken run.

West lower. Stood and sat in all the east south north options since the 80s. I remember a game I think it was Newcastle where they reversed the south bank so we had the small section. May have been a cup game I guess to give them the allocation. Also stood there with a mate when it was away fans. Loved the north and south banks. Different vibes but both great

Always stood in the North Bank, never anywhere else, sat everywhere, north east south and west

Never stood on the chicken run. Sat there when seats came in, but never did it properly.

Never sat in TBU either.
